Join Master Gardener and wild forager Brianne Dela Cruz of Gather & Grow for an educational class teaching you how to Rewild your Garden and landscape.

Gardening season is about to begin, so now is the time to learn methods you can quickly implement this season to make your garden scape a haven for native plants and wildlife. This workshop will teach you what sustainable and regenerative gardening practices you can utilize to transition a standard suburban plot into a vibrant wild garden scape. Brianne will talk about cover crops in the veggie garden, lawn-replacement tips, xeriscaping pros, and cons, native, drought-tolerant planting options, meadow-scaping, incorporating apiaries, and simple low-intervention gardening practices that invite life back to the land. Each student will leave with a wealth of knowledge, a list of native, drought-tolerant plants to plant this year, and a packet of wildflower seeds.
